These unique and rare Japanese porcelain Geisha plates will help round out your collection or make a great addition to your home decoration.
They are part of a Dragonware tea set which I do not have. (The dragon decor is on the Teapot, Creamer and Sugar bowl). Dragonware is a form of moriage pottery made since the late 19th century. Moriage is a type of decoration on Japanese pottery. Raised white designs are applied to the ware. White dragons are the major raised decorations on the moriage called dragonware.
This set dates from the 1920s to 1930s.
There are no chips on any of the plates.
The paint is missing in spots on a couple of the plates.
Please review the pictures carefully.
There is a close-up photo of each of the five plates.
I have honed in on some of the areas where the paint is missing so you have a clear idea.

My goal is to help discarded cool stuff to find new homes with a new generation. So please be mindful that the pieces in my store have had a previous life and are not perfect. I do my best to point out every little nick and blemish they have endured over the decades. Please take the time to review the pictures. If you have any questions, use Etsy conversation.
If for some reason you are unhappy with your purchase, please contact me. I will be happy to refund you and make it right. I want you to love whatever you purchase from me as much as I love it.
